I have a Z30 with the latest OS 10.2.1.2977 but my issue is with the pictures, i find out that i cant use most of the pictures in my phone memory as my BBM display picture.

Even though the pictures are .jpg it keeps saying wrong file format.

Will appreciate your help in resolving this issue

Hello and welcome.
Are you sure the picture format is jpg? Have you looked at the file extensions?
Did you start having this issue since you updated your OS? Maybe the OS needs to be reloaded.

I took delivery of the phone two weeks ago and i updated the OS immediately. i also noticed that even all pictures i took with the phone camera comes up with the same error message whenever you try to use them as BBM display picture and when you open the picture folder you see these pictures but the moment you click to enlarge them, the pictures will pop up and the screen will go dark.

Maybe the OS needs to be reloaded.
