    Hey! hi all, with prossessor sanpdragon s4 pro in this good device, can we obtein android for the inmediate future? Like nexus 4, like ZTE S; LG Optimus; some Galaxy S; HTC; others...updating at less or last kitkat? other? Of course, unloking bootloader and cheking some few drivers. Could be? The idea: extend the useful for this amazing smartphone at all theese times, be updated, be safe; be sure; and keeping this standar.

    I usually swap my phones every 6 months, and from time to time there are 'keepers'.

    The last time I used a phone longer than two years (despite of course buying other phones in the meantime) was back in 2009 when HTC released the HD2 with Windows Mobile and soon some crazy developers over at XDA ported Android to this beast.

    The build quality was similar to the Z30 and the phone turned out to be a beast which I kept for well more than 2 years.

    I think the same will be true for the Z30.

    Similars with Android are: Sony Xperia SP; Sony Xperia TL; ZTE Sprint Force and others above mentioned, so... somebody will make possible; yeah!!

    No. And BlackBerry will not be making any non-PKB Android phones. So no new Z30 like phone either.

    Easiest way to put it is, If your device is running BlackBerry 10. It will stay like that forever.
