    I have 100-5 running. 210 on Telus. I have a T-mobile sim, will it work if I get a plan when visiting the US?

    It should be able to run since the phone is a quad band and if you are in a city with the refarmed network you should be able to get LTE.

    Thank god! I was hoping an unlocked phone would work for tmobile usa as I'm wanting a z30... hope is full compatibility

    Just as an FYI - Tmobile USA has changed their approach to the cell phone industry - they are now following the 'no-contract' practice - so all phones bought through t-mobile usa are now unlocked. So for the basics if your phone is quad band you should be good but if you are looking for faster speeds, LTE, you need to have a phone with the right freq, band, etc. If I am not mistaken TMobile uses 1700 / 2100 but double check on other postings on here to double check.

    The Telus -5 z30 works perfectly on t-mobile USA, and I've got over a weeks experience to prove it. You will need to unlock it though.
