So I loaded the official ATT Update and all was good for about a week. Now for about a week my battery is being drained by system. Today the battery was down to 8% by 2:00 with light usage. My email syncs every 30 minutes and I don't think I changed any of the settings. Any ideas?

I agree with E. Not sure I should try that. Do you think wiping and reloading a new OS would help.

I have seen more AT&T post about a lot of problems since they have done that os update, do your self a favour and load this leak, it's the best, and there is also some different radios you can try if you don't like the first one in the os auto loader,

Check if you have wireless syncing enabled on BlackBerry Link if you're always connected to wifi . I found that really hurt my battery life. I noticed this when my battery problems went away when I was on data only with wifi off.

I'll check that but I don't think that is it. Yesterday I was away from wifi all day and still had battery drain. Cpu was way up there for some reason.

I have the same issues with my AT&T z10. Battery drain as well as slow performance. Another thread has the same complaints from a Verizon user as well.

A lot of people on at&t seem to be having problems after the update. Do yourself a favor and load the 2947 leak it's great.

If I use the autoloader that thursk supplied, can I backup and reload my settings, contacts, calendar using link or does that still cause problems?

Have you tried a backup; security wipe; reload backup?

If that doesn't work just try a security wipe without loading the backup.

There is no need to load the latest leak. Even if it seems to be better.

Ok before doing anything else did you try the reset method ? Hold the volume buttons 10 secs

Don't think I've tried to wipe and reload yet. I've done the restart with the volume buttons several times. Today my battery is back to normal. I haven't done anything new since yesterday. If it fixes itself I will do nothing but if it acts up again I might try 29xx. Just hate to have to load everything manually if I don't have to.

Also I was wrong about this z30 having the AT&T Official OS. I have a z10 with that os and misspoke about the OS on the z30.

Three days ago, battery almost dead after 8 hours. Today, still have over 60% after 12 hours. Sometimes the best way to fix it is to do nothing.
