I ordered my Z30 yesterday and would need to wrap it up on some case when I get it. I've been searching for a decent case (good protection, grippy sides, etc) and there aren't that many options. The leather holster is great, but I don't want to crack the top should that end hits concrete first.

The transform case seems like a good idea with the kickstand, but it does not provide all-around protection and it's all hard plastic. No bueno.

What cases do y'all have? How are they?

I used a transformer case for 9 months and no problems. The way it is designed you would have to drop the device and it would have to hit something besides the ground to do damage to it. Highly unlikely.

The phone never was super popular and has been out for a while, making choices, now, limited.

the otterbox commuter had a design flaw so they stopped production, plus the z30 was not a great seller so not many other options either. i bought an otterbox commuter from a seller in the us on ebay. its a great cae and a simple mod to the charger cord fixes the flaw

I got a Fosman TPU case from Amazon and it is very nice and protective. Be aware that some no-brand cases don't have all the holes for the multiple microphones in them. This one does.
