Yep, it is in all likelihood the same glass weave used on the Q10. I love it personally, I'm a sucker for the carbon fibre look!

I actually haven't got a clue, I just remember BlackBerry referring to it specifically as a "glass weave" during the Q10 launch way back on January 30th. They didn't divulge too much more information about the material if I remember correctly.

Glass Weave is something BlackBerry developed for BB10 devices, never before made or seen before the Q10.
And it is hella hot.

Yes it is, "glass weave" is woven fiberglass fabric. The carbon look comes from it being dyed black. Real carbon fiber is more expensive and it's also a conductor so it'll affect your reception.

Yep, looks like same material as on the back of Q10, which is awesome! I love the look and feel of the Q10 back cover.
