Did you guys notice, the ones with 1233 have registered BB ID but the ones with 262 do not.

I wonder if the difference is caused by the Demo unit on display vs Regular device unit on display?

I think it has it bc when u go to accessories on the vzw site it offers the wireless charger as a z30 accessory.

Okay, did some more digging. Now, the SW release for 10.2.0.1233 seems to be 10.2.0.262. Fine and dandy, except when one remembers that 10.2.0.1725 had a SW release of 10.2.0.253. Next, the simulator for 10.2.0.1233 (the only other mention of this OS besides this thread) has a creation date of 20 September 2013. The 10.2.0.1761 simulator was created on the same day, while the nearest numbered simulators (1443 and 1155) were uploaded in August.

I think 1233 might be another 10.0.9.27xx-style OS, so anyone notice anything that is only in 17xx and higher? Hideable back bar in Android apps, dark theme toggle, etc.

Why can't Verizon just release a BlackBerry 10 device with a current (end Oct - Nov) OS? This game is ridiculous.

Oh no, I think I'm right. Loaded 1233 simulator, calendar and contacts had theme toggle. Build ID puts it a little behind 1761, while the versions for AIR, Flash, Webkit, etc. are all over the place when compared to other OS files.

I have wirelessly charged my verizon Z30 at microsoft store's nokia qi charger, so don't worry its there. According to Battery Guru it was very close to charging via micro usb btw.

Are the wireless charging contacts visible? On the inside of the battery door, or on the back of the device (where the Z30 label is)?

No they're not, but it's been confirmed wireless charging works. I posted the pics of the back and inside the back of the phone in another thread.

I plan to visit the local VZ store this evening, hopefully they got one on display, I will let you know. Don't get your hopes up, though, they are usually very slow to move BB to display (if they are lucky enough to get a free display unit from BBRY).

I visited a Verizon store and they had one out and up and running. I was amazed. It was in demo mode. Very nice.
