Can anyone who has a verizon Z30 verify what OS version it's shipping with? I know it's 10.2 but 10.2.0.what?

I'm just curious if verizon is shipping it with newer OS than is leaking for the Z10.

Knowing VZW it is not shipping with anything higher than our Z10s right now from VZW..... official 10.1.0 LOL

We won't know for sure until reports come back from those who went with Priority Overnight tomorrow morning...I suspect1791 or lower.

I plan to visit the local VZ store this evening, hopefully they got one on display, I will let you know. Don't get your hopes up, though, they are usually very slow to move BB to display (if they are lucky enough to get a free display unit from BBRY).

I am also in NY. Let's not be checking it out at the same store, especially if there is only one in that store..hah! But I have always been lucky because people play with iphone and android for hours, whereas they just grab a Z10 and when don't see fancy crap on the phone like ripples or some weird animations, they just pass pretty quickly, so I can easily grab the BB10 device and play with it. The best one so far was the dude who thought the phone was off when he did not see the "menu buttons light up" and the other guy who tried pressing on Blackberry branding, and shaking the phone. I love that.

When I would go check out the Z10 and Q10 at the company stores they were all on "demo mode" and password locked. This didn't allow me to access the settings to check OS versions... I hope you have better luck. I'm going to stop by my store in Manhattan once I get back today.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm thinking of going ahead and downloading a 10.2.1 leak. I 'm currently running 1791 on my Z10.

I just spent 45mins on the phone with the sweetest CS rep in the world. She helped my fix my order and took the time to get the information I requested.

Considering Verizon released the Z10 with 10.0.9, it's not surprising at all, and is actually an improvement.

10.2.0.1233 should be SW 10.2.0.262.

Doesn't show up on servers for some reason. Probably have to just wait.

Ya I just came from a Verizon store and saw 10.2.0.262 on a STA100-3 model as well.


There's something up, I'm really hoping they sent that model as a display only. There was no mention of wireless charging either, not even on the reps spec sheet l.

Something is definitely afowl!!!

Oh I checked for updates and it said it was the latest.
