I just upgraded from a z10 to the z30, and when trying to connect to my work wifi it keeps giving me this message :

Means it's not communicating with the network properly for whatever reason. Do as it says, check the settings. Make sure your password is correct, make sure the network accepts connections etc. Or even just try rebooting your device. It also seems like you may have a profile already set up for that network, so check to make sure you're not duplicating it.

Thanks for the reply man, but yeah I definitely have the password correct and I've been toggling everything and trying to connect to see what's going on. I've tried to reboot many times already. I connected at first successfully once I switched to a 2.4. ghz band width and that connected. Then I left my department came back and had the same issue. Could also be my network. I'll keep trying

Try deleting the saved settings and reconnect?

This happened to me lots for saved connections. I go back a screen, click the saved profile again, and then it works. Annoying.

I see you have enable connections off that should be on to connect

that just happens when I can't connect, I wish I could disable that. But I'm pretty sure it still refreshes for wi-fi signals?

Delete the saved profile and restart your phone and your router... then set up the wifi network on your phone. It should work. Make sure your Z30 has all the os updates... to 10.2.1 at least.

This happens to me when I use old, saved wi-fi profiles after upgrading the OS and/or phone. Not sure if you just did that, but anytime I get this message I delete the profile and search and set it up again fresh.

yeah I've tried deleting the saved profiles, beginning to believe it's just an issue with the router itself because my home wi-fi works just fine
