Browsie Browser is also great. It's native, has ad-blocking, and has user-agent control.

Make user agent iPhone, and suddenly a ton of sites will work properly, and/or feed html video instead of trying to force flash.

I also agree with Browsie Browser based on its great ad-blocking and best reader mode of any 3rd party browser.

I've been mixing it between Stock browser and Browsie Browser.

I do like Browsie because of the built in AdBlocker. BB Need to add that to their stock browser.

Evolution Browser has parental controls but only by specific subject blocking.

Safe browse has whitelisting and blacklisting, but not the greatest browsing.

Hub browser is great browser and works as a popup card from anywhere! and should be getting whitelisting and blacklisting in next update.

Browsie browser has a great browsing experience and awesome ad blocker, and also should be adding whitelisting and blacklisting in the near future.

Was a stock browser advocate for a long time (and still love it especially for its ability to add bookmarks to the homescreen with icons) but I have fallen hard for Browsie. It's clean, fast, loaded with features, and customizable from an easy to use menu.

I tried HubBrowser for awhile. Maybe I just wasn't the right demographic but I didn't see the point.

Not the native ones. But by using an iPhone user agent, you see a lot less of flash.

If you want flash I'd recommend installing the flash enabled browser. (look through the forums for the bar file etc)

As for Browsie Browser, I might support it in the future. But I can't promise it yet. Since I'd have to rewrite the whole app.

I'll keep my eye out for updates. I have evolution and it does block YouTube with "sex" filter. But I would prefer actual domain blacklisting.
So currently I have my daughter using safe browser but as you mentioned... not a great browsing experience and it's an android port.

The one I was referring to is Safe Browse, (not Safe Browser) and it is native.

    Here
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/31243891

It is very good regarding the whitelisting and blacklisting feature, but like I said, the browsing experience can be lousy.
Tried to email the dev to update but no response.

But the feature is quite popular and it looks like other browser devs will add it to theirs.

Browsie is great congrats to the dev. I tryed some (only for bb10) and this is the most stable and i think will be the best with only a few tweaks. Just my 2cents to dev if he consider and dont get me wrong, App is a bit laggy if we select the hide bar option. Also will be great if like te stock browser the speed deal can have icons/image from related page. Also will love to see on a later version an option for data saving like low res img/not load and like many asked a download manager.

The download manager is gonna be a problem in cascade webview, I'm looking into rewriting browsie to webworks. But I'm not sure if everything is possible in webworks (like disabling images, Javascript, etc)

I'm currently on holiday, when I get back I'm gonna look at what the best option is.

I'm using Browsie a lot now in Spain and disabling images and Javascript saves me a lot of data and since the adblock is actually blocking content (9/10) times it saves even more!

What is this user agent control, you speak of? Im very curious as ive started noticing some sites work with iphones and not BlackBerry and it feels very lame that web devs are only making sites work with iphones now.
