Wasn't the z30 supplied with some external power pack to augment the battery? This seems like a great solution.

With the option of so many portable power packs I would rather carry a small power pack that could charge my phone potentially twice as to one full charge from a spare battery or 75% charge when using the spare battery pack on my zed10

A refinement to the Z30 would be a removable /Swappable battery. What are your opinions people?

After a week I agree that a removable battery is not needed. After a days use I might be down to 1/2. Never had a device as good on battery life.

The ability to swap batteries and/or carry a spare battery give me a sense of security. That's what I like. Not sure if a nonswapable battery is a good thing for ME and the way I use my devices. I dont like carrying chargers around lokking for electric outlets
I have a Blackberry Battery Charger Bundle.

No reason why you can't use one for the Z30. When I am traveling, I usually have my briefcase so it just fit in one of the pockets.

I would have gone with the Z30 if a replaceable battery was available . There are 5000mah batteries out there. You know someone would have made that battery available with a replacement backpanel . I went with the Z10 and and immediately purchased the 4500mah battery with the backppanel. I get 3 days of use before I have to recharge . By the way , I love my Z10 and know I would have loved the Z30.

How did you find did this thread? Did you search for the topic, saw it was 7 months old and still posted? I'm just curious. Thanks.

By the way, I'm okay with the 30's fixed battery, since it does last. Whereas with the Z10, I HAD to carry a spare.
