VZW Blackberry was supposed to be released today according to a Verizon rep.
- Welp, there was some truth to the rumor of a 10/31 release date, but bad news is as we all already know, it didn't happen. Here's a copy of my livechat with the VZW Rep.

ThaChoc1: I'd like to know two things, when will the Blackberry Z30 be available, and am I eligible to use the Device Payment Program?
Kelbie: The Blackberry Z30 was supposed to be released on 10/31, however we have not gotten any word on why it is not available at this time. Your account is not eligible for the Edge program at this time.
ThaChoc1: I'm aware that I'm not eligible for the Edge program. The device payment program is a different program offered by Verizon
ThaChoc1: And thank you for the information on the Z30
Kelbie: I would not have any information for eligibility with that program, that would be through Customer Care as they would be the only department able to offer that option. Would you like that number?
ThaChoc1: Device Payment Program FAQs | Verizon Wireless
ThaChoc1: is it the usual CS number
Kelbie: Yes. It is 800-922-0204. Before you go, is there anything else that I may assist you with today?
ThaChoc1: what is the non-contract price for the Z30?
Kelbie: Since the phone has not been released we do not have any information on the device.

So after that online chat, I called VZW, cause I'm persistent like that...
The rep told me the release is in fact Nov 14th and the non-contract price will be 549.99 for sure.

The reps barely know about that option, and it can only be done in an official Verizon store.
