So far I have connected a usb thumb drive and a Logitech unifying adapter with my keyboard and mouse I use for my laptop (but the micro usb adapter I bought is 90 degrees and it blocks the HDMI port so get a straight adapter or one that turns down when plugged in).I am not going to force it, but I need a different adapter to use with an HDMI monitor. Long press on mouse brings up cut, paste, etc. Awesome! Even remote desktop with the keyboard and mouse was nice. Most keyboard editing is there. Next up, my USB card reader.

Card reader works great. Now I can copy files anytime from any device to my Z30! It only recognized one slot on the reader at a time, but this is how it works in Windows too.

It's called USB OTG (On the Go). It's USB micro on one end for the phone and USB A female on the other end. In Canada these are hard to find in retail. Canada Computers has them for $7.99. Otherwise probably just order it online.

Go to FRYS Electronics in CAL, they have many OTGS and are less than $10, plus it's Sunny & Beautiful outside and in the *70's. ;-)

I see some listers have them 'labeled' for one particular phone or another. Google nexus 7 or Samsung specific.

They are the same for the most part, but I noticed that samsung has a different adapter for certain models, the note 3 has a different adapter than micro usb, but as long as it's micro usb to usb then you are fine
