today morning i am shocked, my z30 screen goes black, hard reset/soft boot nothing solved the issue, i bought my z30 in july 2015, now running 10.3.2.2474(latest 10.3.2), it was good while i was going to bed, but i when i wake up screen is in light green and yellow horizontal lines on the screen , after performing reboot, now it goes black(screen dead), nothing visible, i am receiveing calls and messages, but not visible, i dont know what could be the reason, plz help

Sounds like fried hardware (likely screen).

Call BB and see about getting it replaced. If you got it from a carrier or some other store, try them first.

Go to a service center immediately. Looks like a Hardware failure.

Make a backup if you can connect to the computer...

Then try an autoloader.... there's a newer one that the one you had...

It should be covered by warranty if you purchased it new. Also, you can hook it up to an hdmi tv and see what's happening that is hidden by the black screen.

Thank u for Ur suggestions, I bought it as a brandnew whichcomes with one year warranty, today I have contacted with service center people, they advised me to bring it service center, next week I planned to go there. Thank u all once again.

Connect to computer and back up all your data first! They might wipe it!

I took it service center yesterday and they told me that display has to be replaced and asked me 15 days time for that, thank god, it s under warranty.:-)

Almost the same screen issue happened to my wife's Z30. Only it never went black or weird colour, just stopped responding to touch. It's intermittent though. It's working now.
