    Hi,

I just moved from a Samsung Focus (Windows Phone 7.x) to a Blackberry Z30 with 10.3.1. Just wondering if there is away to have incoming SMS text automatically read through my Honda Bluetooth (2011 Pilot).

Whenever a text/sms message came in through my Samsung, my radio would be automatically interrupted and the SMS would be read without having to touch the actual phone. With the Blackberry, I have to push the voice control button and tell it to 'read last message'. Anyway to have it work like the Samsung?

    Thank you!

There are a number of third party apps in BB world that will take care of that.

Drive Safely and Safe Drive immediately comes to mind.

I asked this question a while back and got no response. I have Safe Drive, but AFAIK it doesn't output to my Bluetooth satnav, and I have to remember to take it out of my pocket and start the app when I get in the car.

    Not ideal.

You might want to check your Bluetooth settings on your car. My Nissan Altima reads my texts on my Z30 to me without having to touch the phone.

I tried drive safely and it didn't output through the bluetooth.

Other than pairing and importing contacts there doesn't seem to be too many options for the bluetooth/nav in the car, but I will have a another look. With the old phone, I just paired it.

Maybe I am over looking an option/setting on the Z30?

    Thanks!

I'm looking for the same thing. Unfortunately, both Safe Drive and Drive Safely get terrible reviews.
