I find the Z30 is too bright even on the lowest setting.

I tried a search in BlackBerry World and didn't see anything.

You must have super sensitive eyes! One of the main complaints of the Z30 aside from the screen resolution, is how the super amoled display isn't bright enough.

    Look! It's Zedzilla10! ?

    ... in the sunlight.

I also find it to be very bright at night, on 0% brightness.

Oh yes, I agree. In sunlight the 30 is quite craptastic really.

What I meant was mostly while using the phone while in bed. It is just way too bright. That's about the only thing I miss from my Z10. The screen on it was awesome. Bright enough in the daylight and dark enough in the nighttime.

Don't know if this would work but what if you cover the light sensor completely? With a little tape or something so that no light at all gets through.

Might help a little? Then take it off in the morning

I'm one to think it's not bright enough. When I go back to play with my iPhone it's a lot brighter.

the screen is capable of going both much darker and brighter. Avg anti virus can change it, but once I leave the app it goes back to regular settings

I downloaded some android apps like Pocket and Kindle, and apparently they have options to adjust screen brightness to an extent where it even surpasses the original full- screen brightness which means my Z30 gets as bright as my Z10, but after I minimize the app, it gets back to its original brightness which was very interesting to me.
I could only wonder if that could remain like that, tried finding some apps, no luck.

I tried it out since I have both phones and the Z10 does indeed get dimmer than the Z30 at the lowest setting. The brightness level does not seem to change that much from minimum to maximum on the Z30. I still would not consider the Z30 to be in any way too bright, and with its dark theme seems better suited to use in dark areas. But that's just me. I could see how some would consider the Z10 too bright in the dark with its white theme, but I don't see it with the Z30.

I've used a z30 and found the display to be a bit on the dim side.
My z10 is brighter but not bright enough to warrant dimming it for night time use.
