Good thread OP. I just ordered some leather pieces from Ebay plus 2 battery covers for my Z30. I will try to fully cover the back of the battery cover.

None. I just cut it close enough to the edge of the housing and then tried to file it down and smooth it out a bit with a tool called "dremel".
