Yep, having some problems.

My situation:

I have my personal phone a current Z10.

I just upgraded my business phone (seperate account) from a Samsung Convoy to a Z30.

I switched SIM cards so my Z30 is now my personal and the Z10 is the business...but I want my BB pin from my Z10 to go to my Z30...pretty much I want everything from my 10 to go to my 30.

I can't switch directly because link wont let me switch to a lower updated OS...

Ideas?

Once you enter your BBID into your Z30, it transfers to your Z30 and will no longer be associated with your Z10. It's one of the first things it has you do in the initial set up. Then you go to BB World and download your apps, media, etc to your new device with the proper versions. Provided they are compatible with the new device....personally, I held out for about 3 days waiting for 10.2.1. to come officially to the Z30 before I used the autoloader method to update my Z30 with a "leaked" 10.2.1 OS. After using 10.2.1 for two weeks on my Z10, it felt like a downgrade to go 10.2.0 on my Z30. At least now I feel like I'm getting the best potential from my Z30 with 10.2.1.2141..

I made a new BBID on this Z30, how do I change it? I can't do that in the "edit" field.

Like someone else stated. Logging into your main BBID on your new BlackBerry Z30 should thus give you all your Contacts for BBM etc.

That's the way I did it. First time leaker! Lol....it just felt like such a downgrade coming from the Z10 with an official 10.2.1. I waited long enough for 10.2 with the Z10, my patience had wore thin....

Alright well I wiped the phone, I was able to get my BBM straightened out...now just finished running the autoloader and lets see if this worked..

you might want to keep it simple
...remember, once you log in with the BBID from your Z10, BBM data is transferred when you open BBM and you authorize the transfer.

BB World shows all your apps as available...all you have to do is re-install them. don't use BB Link to move apps across..a fresh start is always a good idea

email data syncs once you set up email on your Z30...

the major things are call logs and text messages if you want to move them from the Z10 to the Z30and those should be the only data you copy across using Link

I am having a problem switching too from Z10 to Z30 on Verizon. The data will not transfer from newer OS 10.2.1 on the Z10 to the older Z30 OS 10.2.0
Just got the latest update from Verizon for my Z10 end of January and liked it and got used to it. Now I just got the new Z30 and the OS is not as new and won't let me transfer on BlackBerry Link. Very frustrating.
I'm not one to load a leak (not even sure how to do it) . I just want the better and newer device (Z30) to have the absolutely latest update. Why is that so much to ask???
Love the Z30. No issues really except for transfer of files. But the whole Z30 experience is great and I was happy with my Z10 except for battery issues. The Z30 just simply knocks everything else out of the water!!!

I was more than happy with my Z10 as well. I just felt I wasn't able to use the Z30 to its potential on 10.2.0 after having used 10.2.1 on my Z10, so after holding out for about 3 days, I stalled the latest "leaked" OS. Which as I understand has been released as an official OS elsewhere. Also, if I understand right, there was some kind of minor security issue discovered after 10.2.1 was released to the Z10 but before it was released to the Z30, so now there is a delay in getting it officially to the Z30. I waited so long to get 10.2 to the Z10, I was not waiting again to get the latest OS to my Z30. I am by no means computer savvy, but the process was not difficult, and once it's completed, you can then transfer your content and settings.

Go ahead and install the leak, I did and it wasn't difficult at all..make sure you back up your Z30 beforehand
