Sup guys,
i want to switch to an Z30 Device.
Currently im using an Galaxy Note 2 and im really fed up with Android. My last Blackberry was an Bold 9000 - i love that device. Still have it at home.

Soo before switching i need some information which are really important for me:
- Is the display resolution as good as the resolution of the Note 2
- Is the cam better / worser then the cam of the Note 2
- Can outlook.com as email provider be used to push mails, contacts and calender
- Does the app 'Navigon' from android works on the Blackberry OS?
- Does BlackBerry have a future on the mobile market or will it go under the next year

4)Probably not since I'm betting it needs google play services. However, there is a way around this - you can "patch" the app, and it may work.

okay i looked it up - the PPI is 295 for Z30 and 267 for Note 2.

- Is there an Photo editor app available, to crop and edit images
- How long is the device supported in terms of software updates?

There is a photo editing app embedded into the OS itself and numerous others available in BlackBerry World and Amazon app store.

Well there you go. I still somehow think the Note screen looks brighter, but that could be me. Doesn't bother me on my Z30 at all.

2)yes, plenty native and of course most of the Android ones are available.
3)I think it will be awhile...I seriously wouldn't worry about that..

> I don't know because I haven't used a Note 2. However the Z series cameras are great for daytime shots not so much at night in low light. I like that we have features like timeshift and Panorama built into the camera functionality in OS 10.3.

>YES, and if I'm not mistaken this is not an aspect that needs "patching" or "sideloading" of an app. But I'm sure more CB members can speak to the integration.

Most importantly, if you are coming from legacy BB OS, keep an open mind regarding how things work in BB 10 in terms of its gesture and swipe UI language. I assume you are already familiar with the "app situation" of BlackBerry 10 in general.

I know about the app situation and its okay.

Further looking for an housekeeping book app - an app to capture your expenses and earnings.

Okay. another thing:

Will the old devices like Z30, Q10 and so on get the 10.3 Update officially? Or is it just for the new devices like Passport?

Yes all BB10 devices will get 10.3.1 update.

Even if they didn't get updates and I'm not suggesting it would be out for old BB10 devices to not get updates, some of the leaks like 10.3.0.1418 are pretty solid.

And if there are any glitches, they're either minimal or not visible in everyday use.
