    Is this a new device? Are you using it with a carrier for which is was not intended? If so has the device been unlocked?

    If yes, have you tried taking the sim out. Making sure the contacts are clean and it's properly reinserted?

    reloaded the OS with an autoloader, now that worked, now there is faint writing on the screen, it loaded 10.3

    Yes it's normal except for all the recent 10.3 leaks don't have them, so you just be using an old build.
