I've done several searches both here and on the inter webs. My z30 seems to be having issues picking up on my gestures since i installed a screen protector. Its an IQ shield liqui skin. Anyone have this issue? Any suggestions on a replacement protector?

I also use a cheap clear one I bought for a couple of dollars and it works great. I have used the zagg ones in the past and even though they are tough and durable, the cheaper ones ones work just as well along with the outerbox commuter case.

The best ones are of tempered glass. If you can find one for the Z30....

Why the search in here didn't bring it up I'll never know, but there is a thread on here about a tempered glass screen protector. Seems as though a few are satisfied with a protector made for a HTC One M8. I took my current screen protector off and that is most definitely my issue. With my current protector any change in moisture of your fingers renders the swipe gestures inoperable. Works great naked, but I do a lot of mechanic work so I will have to go to the q10 until the new protector comes in. Sorry for the useless thread.

I use the BlackBerry branded ones that are just a dry install. No problem (though fingerprints) with them. I prefer them over the matte ones because the matte ones make the whites look grainy.

I use Xtreme Guard and it's excellent. They throw on crazy sales, there's one for 85% off right now. Get a full body wrap for like $5.

I ordered and installed a Nillikin tempered glass screen protector last night. I may have said goodbye to plastic screen protectors forever. I think it was around $12 on Amazon for the glass. Btw it's made for a htc one (m8) and it's just a solid rectangle and took a couple tries to get it lined up.

I have the original packing screen protector on mine in an OtterBox Defender case with it's screen protector and still have no response problems.
