Hi

I always had the rotation lock on when using 10.2 as I found the phone would randomly go in landscape mode. So I would set the lock on and I had no issues

I have just updated to 10.3 and when the lock is on. The hub automatically comes up as landscape mode rather than portrait

I have done a few reboots and played around with this setting but it has not helped

Any advice?

Phone is z30 and did update with Rodgers FW through sachiesi

I've upgraded from 10.3.1.1154 to an official OS 10.3.1.2276. I'm not seeing the rotation lock issue.

What is your carrier? I will look at trying their firmware

For those interested in some info but not yet complete info....

I just ran the Autoloader. I had loaded a Blitz upgrade with Sachesi and did not run a full autoloader. Without any restore (that is happening now), my Camera app was just rotating properly. Restore is only 10% complete so it will take a while.

Let's see if restoring settings or Apps kills it again!!!

Well, so far, so good.

I've got camera rotation back and I can play videos in Landscape orientation. Even with Restore, I had to provide my passwords for my email accounts and twitter, had to setup picture password again and had to manually restore my Static ip address for wifi sharing.

I ran BB Virtual Expert and it passes all of the sensor tests including tilts and angle and flips and twists. It had failed those same tests the day before. So reloading the entire Autoloader and restoring my Z30 seems to have worked. Hopefully, it will continue working properly.
