here at (Japan) on ntt docomo using their sim in my Canadian (rogers unlocked) purchased Z10

.. for Z30, what variant do i need here? is it the STA100-6? and if so , where can i buy this unlocked please?????

Went to future shop in Windsor, Ontario and they had one z30 in stock, got to play with it, but they only sell on-contract and I'm not with Telus.

You would think with all the huff this caused there would be more people pre-ordering, but I guess that could just mean people are not waiting for Rogers and jumping ship

There are a lot of people still stuck on multi-year contracts - even with just a couple of months to go it means that ordering "now" is out of the question for them. Having the Z30 available when they're ready is what they complaints were about.

Check gsmnation.com, the Z30 I saw there looked like a -6. Before buying though, email them to double check. Make sure you use their compatibility tool as well.

Well considering Telus lists the STA100-5 as having 2600 LTE if rogers is carrying the -5 I hope that means Telus is right...

Now in off to Telus to buy my Z30 screw waiting for rogers

That would be a good indication, yes. But from past experience, I've seen Rogers leave out bands from their listings too.

I'm still surprised that Bell would leave out the 2600 band, for which they do have a network.

It seems like some people are reporting that the Telus Z30 comes unlocked, might be something for Rogers customers to investigate

i looked at that site .. only -2 model i think .. and they only ship us canada i think . i want it shipped to tokyo ...
