hi all

having update my z30 with the new os im having phone calls disconnected phone saying network busy had this at least a dozen times today .................................is it just me ...............................I think the radio with 10.2.1.3175 is rubbish ,cust think I have been hanging up on them .....not good

I have radio issues on Z30STA100-5/10.3.0.296

Most calls go directly to vmail, if I'm on a call and I get another it beeps once and goes directly to vmail.

I chalk it up to being on a leak.

I know this doesn't help you but just tossing it out there.

I have got constant calls drops on my Q10 and Z30 on all different OS's. I'm unsure if it's a Vodafone issue or the phones themselves.

Sometimes I can be talking for ten seconds whilst without me knowing the line goes quiet only to have to repeat myself again or vice versa.

its really is strange im on o2 .I had better phone calls when I was using a leak but for the life of me I cant remember which one

I'm on Vodafone Germany and this has happened to me, too.
One day I wondered, why some people left messages on my voicemail box, but I should have been able to hear the phone ringing.
So, I tried to call myself and found, that at least every 2nd call was directly sent to the voicemail box.

3175 is installed on all my BB devices (Z10, Z30, Q10) and all of them have the same problem.

First, I thought, this is because of any tool, which catches the phone calls, or any bad setting, but I could not find any solution there.

Next, I will try to flash an older radio.

As long as it does not work, I will use my old iPhone

It seems reflashing the radio 3175 with the autoloader found here solved the problem.
I have to withdraw this statement, because it happened again.
Maybe on the carrier side?

Sure it isn't carrier issues? Tried another phone or asked others on the same carrier?

Same problem with my q5 and z30 on latest 10.3 leak. The signal is very weak and the phones keep searching network.
It's a different story on 3175, I always get better signal and reception.

I have a similar problem. I updated to .3175 on my Z10 and Z30. The Z10 on AT&T and Z30 on Verizon. I noticed that the signal on both phones was a little weaker with .3175. I went back to 10.2.1.2228 (SW Release 10.2.1.2156) on the Z10 and the latest Verizon update for the Z30. I don't know the version number. Anyway, now I notice improved signal in weak areas on both phones. Version .3175 seems to have a weaker radio, at least from my observations. I'm in a weak area for T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon so I notice even small differences in signal.

In my case it seems to be carrier related:
Vodafone Germany changed something in my region. I suddenly also get "E", before I only had G, H and 4G.
So, I thought, maybe I should try to switch off 4G? And this really helped. No missed call yet and immediate connection, when I call my Z30 myself.

It may be still in some kind radio related, because my iPhone works fine with 4G enabled.

Leaks are always a risk... especially when they must connect to today's mobile networks... because the networks are more complex today than they were a few years before... today the telephone must connect to 4G/3G/2G... this can be complex... so stay with the official version... this is my advice

I have just got my 4g sim from o2 uk and am running the latest official os and I am still getting issues with calls and also when im at home with my wifi on if I get a call it sometimes while taking a phone call the sound gets all messed up and its not just me that can hear the noise but also the person im talking to

it is getting on my wick ppl think I am hanging up on them not good............think I am going to have to load a older radio....................there was one that was great but I cant remember for the life on me which one lol..............
