Hey everyone. I am having issues with the screen staying on when on the phone. It's like the proximity sensor isn't picking the side of my head up. The screen stays on the whole time I'm on a call unless I hit the power button. I tried be virtual expert and all sensors pass. I tried hard reset and reboots. I don't have a screen protector on either.... any help would be appreciated.
Oh I have dropped my phone in the past but can't imagine it is that since the sensor works in virtual expert....

I've experienced the same, and believe it's a software issue, stemming from the phone app. What OS are you running?

A software issue would make sense.....

Is there any other way to test the sensor other than virtual expert and phone?

If the BBVE shows its working, it's working.

That's why I recommend using Blitz. It's nondestructive. Just remember to check off allowing downgrades in Sachesi, before you run it. What I don't know, not having researched it, is whether the phone app is a different version between the two.

OK if all else fails I may try this. Thanks for your help!

It used to happen to me. I noticed my screen protector blocked the sensor. When I had it removed it worked fine again. So check if there's anything blocking the sensor pint (at the top of the phone beside the speaker)

Works fine in virtual expert so I don't think it is dirty.

If it was an OS issue, would the problem not start immediately after you update? Not three weeks later?

And is the sensor integral to the circuit board or is it something that can be changed out?
