They do what you've said except that you can get 3 days trial for free and you can get annual subscription less than $50 and that's better than $8.5 or $9.99 per month

I know this does not answer the original question but since others have commented on the VPN they use I would like to recommend hide.me. Hide.me was perfect for me. It is multiprotocol. I can use it from my BlackBerry or my iPad. And one of try it for free.

A must for VPNs is that they don't do logging. A lot do. Hide.me doesn't.
