    I'm currently using a z30. If I do a full backup via BlackBerry Link onto my computer, can that backup be restored onto a different phone (a different z30 or a passport)? Thanks

    Yes. I make backups on my main device (Q10) and restore to my Z30, Q5 and my Z10 (backup phones) all the time without a problem.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong...but this only works if you are going to the same OS or newer. If you try and restore to an older OS, it won't work.

    In addition, your restore is device specific. What I mean by that is if you backup a Q10 and restore that backup on a Z30 you will only have 3 rows of apps per page to mirror your Q10. So you'd need to rearrange your setup.

    Also, you can only do a full restore to a different device that you have setup with the same BlackBerry ID as the device you backed up from.
