C'mon guys, we need to move past the 16 gig internal storage. I'm OK with using the SD card for storage, and I'd be happy to use it to install apps. With fancy shiny games topping a gig each, that 16 gigs just doesn't go as far as it used to.

Would be so nice to see the z30 with at least 32gb. I can dream, right?

After downloading 3 gigabytes of apps in the free promotion today I tend to agree. A lot of games are 1 gigabyte which eats up your space really fast.

I'd be more satisfied with the ability to choose where your apps are stored. Having the ability to save game and less frequently used apps to the SD card would be more viable to me. Then, I'd have a reason to upgrade to a 64 GB memory card.

Too late for that. The specs are set. The device following the Z30 will most likely contain 32gb

The issue with wanting 32gb on a device is that it is not going to be the most popular version of the device, especially since it has an sd card slot as well and it is liable to negatively impact total orders for the z30 from carriers because they will be more conservative in their orders for both versions.

I like this method a lot better than the apple way of charging you $100 to go from 16 to 32 GB. That is ridiculous.

One of the reasons I am using BB10 rather than an iPhone.

Well I've decided I'm not getting another phone with 16 gigs of storage. BlackBerry better up their game when it comes to storage.

You can make the "BlackBerry doesn't need a quad core processor to run good excuse because the OS is optimized" excuse or the "megapixels don't matter" one, but you can't excuse lack if internal memory.

Yes, I am aware but I am still using the same card out of my torch and I haven't filled it up.

BlackBerry should offer high quality SD cards as an option at purchase.
