    I can not play videos listed on a news website. When I select the play icon on a news clip on CBC for example I only get the option to Save the video.
    Am I missing something or is this normal.
    What do I need to play those clips?

    You mean you can't play flash videos, if that's the issue check if your flash player is enabled on your browser.

    I checked and Adobe Flash is On.

    This is still a problem for me.
    Does this happen to everyone?

    On the CBC news site they have a video of the probe landing on the comet.

    I cannot view this video.

    All I can do is SAVE the video for viewing off line.
    I'm missing something here.

    Can someone please provide useful comments.
    Yes, flash player is turned on.
    I have the latest recommended OS update.
    My Z30 works fine.

    Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately (doesn't need flash), the CBC mobile site seems to have some of their videos in 3GP format which, I suppose isn't registered in the browser despite the fact that the media player can play it.

    Most mobile sites use the MP4 container so when the browser sees a link to a .mp4 file, it launches the player but when it encounters a .3gp file, it doesn't know which app to use so it offers to save it. For now, just save it and play it using the video player or file browser until BlackBerry updates the browser file association list.

    I tried the mobile site on a desktop browser and it is also parsed as a download instead of an embedded video so this seems to be a "feature" of the site.

    When I hold the link (not the video thumbnail) in the BB10 browser and select "open" it takes me to the desktop site where the video plays embedded in the page.
