I had that issue once. Restarted via the volume keys and they began appearing again consistently. OS issue, I'm guessing. Try a leak, or reload the OS?

I'm no expert but could it be because of the memory card being used? Try a class 8 or 10 memory card.

I have had a similar issue where downloaded images are not appearing in the gallery. I think I fixed this with a reset, although I thought to myself that this is pretty poor as regards to a fairly mature OS (10.2.1) and we shouldn't have to deal with such bugs at this point in time.

It's a phone, I'm not "running it" or "rocking it" I just use it. Z30STA100-2/10.2.1.3062

This has been a daily issue for me.

A few other threads on this topic... just so you know, this is a real issue.

Couple ideas from the other threads:

Pull out your memory card, then reinsert it. That actually helped for me a few months ago. It's quick cuz it doesn't require a restart.

If that doesn't work, try copying all the card's files onto your computer, then reformat the card either in the phone or using the computer, then copy the files back onto the card. I did that one too just recently and it seems to have fixed the issue for me.

I'm using a 64 GB SanDisk class 10 SDXC card, formated to ex-FAT using Windows 8.1. My Z30 is running 10.2.1.3062

This is certainly imho a software issue, it also has impacted me. Hoping for a permanent fix with the next update.

Had this issue as well, glad to see other threads about it

Turning off and turning back on the phone is a temporary fix. Same with taking out and Re inserting the memory card.

I've tried formatting the SD card and still nothing. I've just purchased a class 10 SD card hoping that will solve it

Really hard to tell if it's software related or SD card related. Because when I set the photos to save to device, there's absolutely no issue

Nope, not hard to tell at all: it is a BB10 software issue associated with the Pictures app accessing photo files on the SD card.

Thanks for the clarification. Blew a little bit of unnecessary $$ it seems like on the class 10 SD, but hey I went from no name 32gb class 4 SD to "name brand" class 10 SD 32gb. Long term I can't complain

Looks like everyone using 10.2.1, hopefully 10.3 will clear this up!
