Is anyone else having issues with the USB and hdmi ports while using the commuter case?

To be it seems to be a bit tight when using the official blackberry USB cables.

I almost want to shave away part of the case, but I'm not paying $45 to have to start macgyver-ing a poorly designed case.

What i do is i cut the upper part of the usb to fit. Haha perfectly fits without altering the case.

I just wiggle the cable in. Seems to work well for me and doesn't require alterations to the case.

Initially it's gonna be snug. After a while it will loosen.

Luckily I had a different USB cord that works perfectly.

You can also consider filing the USB port's plastic part. Make sure you have a backup.
I worry about the playbook charger, though, still PB charger is cheaper than otterbox

I also had the same problem with the charger not fitting properly .i read a thread which someone said to file a little of the case so it will fit. So that's what I did with a small metal file. Does it fit now? Yes it does. Any other problems by doing this? Yes there is. Now that I took a hair off the case the rubber flap does not lock in tight. It goes in and closes but it's very loose and is kind of bulging out a little. Enough to bug me. I was thinking of cutting the flap off.

I've used the commuter for 3 months now. I've had no issues with the charging port working with the OEM blackberry charge cord, but other random micro USB cables I have are not usable. They are to thick to use with the commuter. The standard Verizon car charger works fine also without filing any part of the case.

Had the z30 and commuter since November and at 1st the usb was extremely tight. Over time it has loosened up and fits better now.
