    Hello everyone,

I am very curious but I'm scared to install OS 10.3.2.500 on my Z30 because I know that I cannot go back. There is someone who could explain me the potentiality of this new version and the know issues? In all the OS I tried in my device there are some issues, some small other big so now I thinking to install the newer.

    Thank you

Yes, I know that there is a yet a thread but there are a lot of comments so it would be better if someone could sum up everything

If you're scared to install 10.3.2.500, then don't. I usually like to install leaks on a back-up device just to see what's new or different. But I don't want to install a leak that doesn't allow me to go back to 10.3.1. I still want to be able to use my back-up device in case my main device breaks.

I've heard that there isn't anything noticeably different. I think that when the leak gets into the 1000s (right now it's at 500) then we will see something worth installing the leak.

Good luck if you decide to install it!

I have it installed and no issues. It fixed the screen flicker issue I was having. I installed it on my z10 first to try it out with no issues so I went ahead and installed it on the 30. Battery life is insane.

I'd rather move up to 10.3.1.2744. I've read battery life takes a hit with 10.3.2.500. I'm in no hurry to go to 10.3.2.

If I were you I would just stay on 10.3.1 versions for now. I find no big issues with 10.3.2 but I also don't like the fact that I can't go back.

Yes, I think that I will stay on 10.3.1 by now although there are a lot of unresolved issues. Do you know if there will be a newer version of 10.3.2 in next days? I don't know, but a more complete version of that could convince me

The issues you're having are more related to having performed a non-destructive update rather than the OS itself. I don't believe your problems would be resolved no matter what you move to (whether 10.3.1.2744 or 10.3.2.500). Your bugs will follow you.

If you ran an autoloader, you'd be happy with either OS.

No idea. There was a new 10.3.1 just the other day.

So an autoloader it's better than an OTA update, ok. So I have another question. If I don't want to lose everything a backup it's safe or it's better to reinstall every single app and to re-configure all? Some months ago I found a sort of 'guide' to install in a perfect way an autoloader. I mean:
Backup->wipe->autoloader->wipe->wipe and then it will be complete this procedure. You know that this is a good practice?

Your choice, but if you have corruption on your device, Link backs up and restores that too. You may end up no farther ahead.

The problems you were reporting in the other thread make me think you have corruption in your current setup. There is no way to get rid of that without doing a clean install. That means you should run an autoloader without restoring anything. You will have to setup your phone like it was new again.

If you use a third party backup app like Ultimate Backup, you can at least backup and restore your contacts and media safely.

I would like to install this on my Z30 but I'm wondering if one issue has been corrected yet. On my Z10 I could increase font size through setting and it would increase the font in my texting. I've not been able to adjust it at all on my Z30. That is my only complaint with the Z30. Could you see if it is any different on 10.3.2.500? Thanks.

I didn't have any issues changing the text size even on 10.3.1.2744 with the Z30. It was actually set to 8 point font when I got it and I adjusted it to 7 and this was upon receiving it.

Thank you for the information also from my side. I'm also a fan of Autoloader. There are just fewer problems.

Conite, as I see you're running this on a Z30, from your view:
What bugs/Problems do you have with this leek? Is there anything not working for you? Or is there anything working oddly and not as it's supposed to work?

Overall I find it at least as good as any 10.3.1 build. The return of quick cloud storage access (like Dropbox) is a plus for me.

I resolved with a clean installation of 10.3.1.2726: some days ago I tried the last update but it was a disaster so I came back and this OS is awesome on my device

I haven't been able to adjust it the way that I could on my Z10 for the last few OS upgrades. You must be blessed with much better eyesight than me as I have mine set on 14..... Although it shows up on my texts at a font size of around 10. Not sure what to do. I need the larger text as my eyes are not quite what they used to be since I hit 50. Readers do help though.
