Hey guys, so I updated my OS to 10.2.1.1925 (official) from 10.2.0 which was the stock OS about a month ago and I've been noticing a major difference in the battery life. Is there any way to downgrade and has anyone else experience this problem when moving from 10.2.0 to 10.2.1?

Did you update over the air/with BlackBerry Link or did you update with an autoloader?

If the former, try a security wipe.

Autoloader. Based on some of the other threads I'm beginning to think 10.2.1 has a lot of issues :/ Maybe I'll try to find a 10.2.0 OS and install that and see how battery life fares

See if you can find a 10.2.1.2947 autoloader with the 10.2.1.2274 radio. That's been pretty good for me.

I would "second" the versions thurask mentioned. I have been running them on my Z30 from Verizon and the battery life has been excellent!

Just a similar question: how to factory reset to the original os that z30 came with? Mine was 10.2.1.2104 (hope that's right). I'm currently on .2947 and battery cannot last very long. I tried factory reset on link but the os is still. 2947. Thanks.

Find an autoloader for whichever OS you want to revert to (10.2.1.2141, in this case).

    Anyway, here's some 10.2.1.2947/10.2.1.2274 autoloaders:

    Q10/Q5
    STL100-2/3
    STL100-4
    Z30

If I downloaded the z30 version to my computer, can I use Sachesi to install so I don't have to manually reload everything?

No. However, the bar files to do what you're asking are available in the 10.2.1.2947 thread.

Also remember after installing a leaked OS and setting your email, calendar, contacts, etc. it take about 1 full day for everything to settle. (ex. Grabbing Facebook contacts, collecting calendar info). Usually you'll see the battery performance improve after a few days after the install.

I've noticed that the Android Runtime drains the battery.. I've experimented with Android apks installed and without. And my Z30 runs a lot better with just BlackBerry Apps.
