Before anyone start bashing me, I'm BlackBerry for Life! But for the second time I see a great deal on the Z30 on ShopBlackBerry US and once again the black device is out of stock! I mean like a day after 225 discount was announced! what's wrong with this picture? I know there are other options to purchase a Z30, And no I don't want a white one

That is a great deal. If I didn't already have a Z30, I would be all over that!

Add the Z30 to you cart (can only be white at this point), then in quantity, type in a large number, like 900, update shopping cart, and the number will display how many are left.

    382 white Z30's are left.

Doubtful. It was only a limited amount. Black will be restock after the sale...probably the day after.

Thanks for the input CrackBerry Mates! I guess the million dollar question is why not just stock enough Black Z30s until the sale is over, it couldn't be no worse than letting them sit up in a warehouse collecting dust, and besides who do BlackBerry thinks is going to buy a phone at 499 that's over a year old!

@OP easy fix, buy a white one and then buy a black Z30 battery door! I know it won't totally be black but don't miss out on a great deal for a great device because of its color.

Trust me, white grows on you!

    Look! It's Zedzilla 30!

You can also replace the screen down the road if you really wanted too.

When you see deals like this you jump on it, but instead you decided to make a mortgage decision and wait till it dropped further, like few other prices drops.

Buy the white and get it wrapped, the same material used on cars. 3M makes good matte black wraps I hear. Lol

Just order the white while it's on sale and put a black case on it and you wouldn't know the difference. BlackBerry is awesome.

I did that with my white Z30 and had an "incident" and the screen shattered. Ordered a new black screen (easier, cheaper, more reputable, and faster delivery). Already replaced a Verizon screen so it's fairly easy, but have to void warranty... funny though, now my white Z30 will be all black. lol

But, I purchased another white Z30. How could you not at $225 unlocked? Crazy price!

The man won't sleep properly if he does that. Wrapping is still the best solution.

Although I don't see it this time, they usually say that their sales are good "while supplies last." IOW, if their current shipment or limited supplies allocated during the duration of the sale run out, they won't re-stock at the same price. IMO, a seller is within its rights to do so, as long as they have this WSL disclosure.

Glad I got mine ordered on the 25th then! However, I haven't received my shipping notification or tracking number. Now that they're out of stock, does that mean I am SOL?

AFAIK, there isn't much stock left and they aren't producing them anymore so why would they last long at that price? The one I bought in Dec has a June 2014 production date. I don't know any dates after that. If you have a Z30 and bought it recently, put the date on the box here.
Last 2 I got on Black Friday sale (late November 2014) are:
    White 220814
    Black 141014

Previous pair I bought back in late August 2014 are:
    White 090414
    Black 080714

How are you decoding those into a production date? The older ones would have made some kind of sense to me at first glance (080714 could easily be a straight-up date, or 8th week, 7th day, 2014, something like that) but the newer phones codes blow that concept out of the water.
