    Hi all,

My issue isn't a huge deal but somewhat more of a irritation when I need to use it. Since my 1st 10.3 leak I have no Bluetooth whatsoever. I would turn it on and it would simply not "find" any devices and if I turn it on and leave the settings and open it up immediately it would show Bluetooth is turned off.

Cannot get it to turn on and stay on. No Icon displayed to indicate it's turned on, it is set to be discoverable and even when turned on the icons at the bottom of my screen stays grey.

Never had this issue on 10.2.

    Any ideas??

Just one: Wipe the device and reload the OS (by that I mean, run an autoloader).

If after that Bluetooth works (and it will), then try restoring a back up.

If things break after the backup, you know it's some incompatibility.

Did that already with my previous 10.3. Was a clean install. Still the same issue, that's why I haven't been bothered to do it again. But will give it a try again tomorrow. Thanks anyway.

You must have a STA100-6? I have the same issue. Nothing fixes it. I have done a clean install, SIC Wipe and load, multiple security wipes.... Nothing fixes it.

Yes I in fact have the STA100-6. Downgraded to 10.2 via BlackBerry Link yesterday...Bluetooth works 100%, did a clean install of 10.3 and nothing. But I knew the risk of running a leak, been running leaks for years. Just hoping it gets sorted in the official release. Here in sunny SA we only have access to the STA100-6

I've done all the above and even tried sideloading official .2977 bluetooth bar file. Still not working. I will try sideload .2977 system file or settings file and see what happens. Maybe Thurask or Darcy could give some advice.

    Thought I'd revive this threat.

Nothing useful just happy to report that as from today I have Bluetooth again for the first time in months. Courtesy of the latest 10.3 leak I finally loaded.

    Happy days...happy indeed

Made sense that it was simply a bad leak. More of a fan of OTA OS released myself, but at this point I'm sure there are tons of more stable leaks compared to September 2014

I have this exact same problem on the Passport with 10.3.0.908 official. Rebooting seems to bring it back to life though. Hopefully will be fixed once 10.3.1 hits.

It is actually NOT the leak that resolved your issue, it is that you have not tried to connect to the device that will send you back inot the NO Bluetooth mode.

I have reported this on the BlackBerry forums as it is actually an issue with the way the Bluetooth stack is implemented on some 10.3.0.XXXX versions and all 10.3.1.XXXX versions. Once you try to connect to a device that does not require "Authenticate", then the Bluetooth goes into an Off state until you do a Hard Reset.
The issue seems to be that the device thinks it is paired, the OS is waiting for the "Authenticate" and it fails to recover. This is present in all 10.3.1.XXXX versions and might even be the reason why the Pebble's battery drains so much faster when paired with a BB10 running OS 10.3.1
