I just bought a new Z30 and updated to latest 10.3 OS. I coming from iphone 5 and I really wanted to return to BB after my excellent experience with my old bold few year ago.

Regrettably I have a serious issue with Z30 which renders it useless for me.

Mobile is connected to our Zimbra email server via exchange/activesync and set to push. The problem is that attachments get autodownloaded all the time and without exception. Regardless of size all email attachments are constantly autodownloaded, which of course results in a very high data mobile usage.
I have tried everything to resolve this issue, wiped the device reinstall software, reboot etc Of course automatic load external images is off, but still have no control over attachments download.

Any advice would be much appreciated....

P.S. Activesync protocol shows 12.1 and all other devices iphone, androids etc don't have this issue at all.
Attachments are only downloaded when users tap the attachment icon.....

Assuming you are on 10.3.1, this may help. Go to Settings, Accounts, and select the account. At the bottom of the screen, tap Advanced. Scroll to the bottom of the page where you'll see Roaming, Cellular, and WiFi data control. There you can adjust how much is downloaded automatically.



This has been available for all the EAS accounts I've seen, though I have no experience with Zimbra.

Thanks yours, but unfortunately I dont get to have these options.... I get to choose between "full message" and "headers only"....
