Exactly! US carriers are the worst at providing the latest updates for BlackBerry 10. You'll be waiting forever while the rest of the world is on an official 10.3.1 release.

Take a few days to get familiarized with the device and read some of the HOW TO: threads that are all over CB forums. Lots of people willing to walk you through the upgrade process and help with any questions you might have included myself. Z30 and 10.3.1 combination is awesome!

Just ordered a used Verizon Z30 off of eBay for $265, first Blackberry I've owned since the Bold 9650 (yikes!). I'm really excited to get this guy, as I had gotten very tired of Android. I may need your help in these forums, it's been quite a long time!

Congrats to you! I'm upgrading my Z10 to a VZ Z30 tomorrow. I loved my Bold 9780 but made the transition very easily to BB 10. You will love it. You might post after a week or so and let us know how you are faring with it.

I've had my Z30 for a week..upgraded from the Q10 and it's straight up amaaaaazing...especially with 10.3 on it. As far as the leaks..i normally install what most people in the forum agree is stable and I haven't had any issues to date. Currently running 1949 and it's running like a dream! Enjoy your new device..it's totally worth it.

I love 10.3.1.1949 as well. I still have the problem where the notifications keep telling me to sign into my accounts at least in e every other day. It's a leak so I figured little quirky things like that can happen. But from the phone dialer to the fresh flat app icons, to the new new text tools, all the way to the silky smoothness of the OS. I really enjoy this more than 10.2.1, even if I only spent a few days on it. But I reverted after I got my 2nd RMA device and was not excited with it until I loaded up the Autoloader with .1949 again. It's everything I need foe home and work.

I've been using the rock-solid .1154 awhile. I say load the newest though, especially with a virgin device, you don't have any backup/restore that can go wrong. Then, get SNAP and Amazon App store for the few things from Android you can't do without... Welcome home!

Best all touch BlackBerry device of all time. I wish it could have been called The Storm Torch 30..to bury the stigma of the Storm and Torch all touch devices...
