I can afford buying a new phone once every two years. I am in love with the Z30 but the condition of the company makes me think if i get one, will it be supported for the next two years.

So my question is, Is it safe to purchase a Z30 given the current state of the company?

If by supported you mean new OS updates, then I'm not too sure. Will it still work and will there be apps for it? Yes.

100% BlackBerry is going to be around for quite some time, whether in good health? Who knows. But they won't go down anytime soon, if you change your phone every two years, it's safe to say that you will be alright.

I think the z30 will be supported for the next two years. One of the points of going to BB10 from legacy BBOS was to allow for better support like the iOS or Nexus devices.
