first all, yes I've browsed the entire forum and did not get any response of my particular problem, which is:
Phone does is OFF, plugin everywhere is like NOTHING, no led when hit the power button, nothing with plug to PC. But it takes some temperature on the battery area.
It was working perfecty with no issues until I pick the phone for some light use, it wokes up automatically since I use those gestures functions... Readed some messages and realized it was turning really HOT. So hit the top button in order to leave it, and nothing happened, my HUB was working well, but the home gesture wasn't doing anything, so I hit the power button for some seconds to turn it off, it went off... for the rest of the day!

Try pressing and holding the Vol Up and Vol Down buttons for a minute or two.

Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have a Z10: If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

If reset does not work try to reload the latest official OS via BlackBerry Link (phone reset) or via autoloader.

yep sure I've tried, I want my phone back, so I'm trying everytime!! The phone does not emit any visual signal of life, BUT, but holding the power button for few minutes, the phone turn a bit hot.

Andrew, the issue you are seeing could be caused by a defective battery or the actual device it's self. As already mentioned you could try reloading the OS to see if that than resolves the problem. If that doesn't work, purchase a new battery and see it that brings life back into it. In order to replace the battery you'll need to first remove the display and motherboard.

You can find the battery for as low as $9.95 USD on Ebay or try any one of the mirad of other suppliers like etradesupply.

I agree with Bronco. You can find a taredown on YouTube which will give precise details of how to take your Z30 apart.

yep mate, I think replacing the battery will be my next try. Can't reinstall the OS since LINK does not detect it.
Can't believe it never sent any warning... battery life was perfect, I've used the bb original charger... all what a BB lover should do to care that baby... I'll need to repare my Z10 screen while waiting that battery.

That's another thing that can be had relatively cheep as well. I picked up a white 4G Z10 housing with screen for $6.95 USD.

Most likely you will need to change the battery. This can only be done by a good technician.

Mine fell after 20 days and the screen cracked, the glass only and a few dents, I went and got a brand new one and I am planing to buy the glass and new housing for the first one that I keep in the box. No other phone compared in the price range and even the ones a bit above and plus the accessory is very, very low priced on Amazon.

Did you every get the phone working? If not, you should look on ebay and see if you can find another. Should be lots of used ones kicking around.
