Hi everyone. First of all, sorry for my bad english.

I bought a Z30 like two months ago and i think it has a problem with the battery. I read on the internet and people said the battery lasts about 2 days with medium usage. Mine doesn't. It lasts 2 days with light usage.

In a normal day i wake up at 7AM (100% battery), and with some cellular data (3g), some games (20 min) , browsing internet (30 min), playing music from youtube (15 min), 3-4 calls, 20 sms, at 2PM, i get like 50% left. Keep in mind that i have a black wallpaper and the battery saver is always on. Location services off, no email account to sync, not even facebook to sync. Is this normal? Please help me. I want to take the phone to the waranty.

its not great but I don't think anything is wrong with battery. BB10 gets great standby battery when not in use but drains fairly fast with gaming and web browsing. A spotty connection could also increase battery use. Don't always go off what people consider "medium" and "light" usage as it varies from person to person. Post up some screen shots of your battery use screen and that will help tell if something is eating more battery than it should

LTE browsing burns more battery versus having LTE disabled. And of course gaming. Overall the Z30 has great battery longevity.

I also make sure nothing is running in the background. Remember NOTHING needs to be running in the background.

You might want to turn down the screen brightness. That seems to be a high battery user in your setup.

Charge it up and after 10 or 12 hours, show the Device Monitor screen again. It is hard judging over the 2 day period.

Device Monitor in battery mode - scroll the list. Also, again the CPU tab will show active versus IDLE (it uses UPPERcase to show idle!)

There's an Android app, Task Manager that I use to show which Android apps are still doing something (what is anybody's guess) and can terminate/kill them. It is by ByteHamster and I kind of like it.

the battery life on my unit absolutely sucks with 10.3.1.2582

Performed a complete wipe to make sure, reloaded core software and apps I know never gave me trouble earlier, but battery drops 7-8% per hour throughout the course of the day with little (if any) activity, then seems to stall out at 34%... then drops like a rock to 5%

Something's not right with this OS. Downgrading to .1949 ... most stable and best battery life on that version.
