My phone is 2 weeks old I've been having battery issues. I did a security wipe and that didn't solve the problem. Should I just give the battery time to adjust? I have no email set up I'm watching to see what the device monitor will say when the battery dies

You posted a freshly charged phone. Can't really tell what's draining where. You could just try using it normally in a day, and once you notice the battery getting low, then you can check your device monitor again?

If after that the battery life is not improving then you may take it back to the store and get a replacement.

T-Mobile don't have the suggested speeds you mentioned. Hopefully it's just getting settled. I didn't add a email account yet. Waiting and watching. Feel like I own a rebellious teenager. Lol all the other parents brag while I keep pulling mine by the ears.

I think its normal. Mine also same, display drain most of the precious juice from the battery. Android apps like Telegram also use most of the battery power.

Mine had that issue at first. My GPS antenna was going wild and my area has bad cell reception. So I just gave it about a week and POW my little buddy is doing great. About 2 days at least of battery. Very impressive compared to 3/4 day when I first got it.

But damn when it works, it is a remarkable phone for what it is.

Yeah, bad reception also contribute to how fast your battery drain. 2G network seems sip the battery power, but on 3G and above its like running on steroid..fast network but fast battery drain too.

I only ever see a percentage and it never calculates how man hours I have left on that percentage.

It's a bug in 10.3.1.x leaks.

After you reboot your phone you need to run device monitor once to make it collects data.

And to further increase battery range I would turn brightness as low as you can tolerate and I would also change everything to dark background that isnt already set by default like BBM. Turn off anything that isnt being used; bluetooth,nfc,location services,wifi, etc.

Going on 26 hours. Have used it a lot. Vzw model. No leaked software. Several android apps. Several hours of phone calls (speakerphone and headset)

the 26 hours was a big improvement over the day before. The difference was not enabling bedside mode!! I am just putting the notification to phone calls only now.

What would bedside mode have to do with it, I wake up and have a 100% charge, turn it off, and I'm good. Please explain,am I not getting a full charge in bedside mode.

Ya I tried what you suggested but it didn't work. I'll chalk it up to being a bug on OS10.3.1.1154. Interestingly enough however, when I minimize the device manager to an active frame, it shows me the avg. Battery life and percentage then.
