When's the last time you rebooted your device?
It should be rebooted very frequently.

I've rebooted my Blackberry's once a day since I got my first Pearl.
I now have a Passport and a Z10 and they run as fast today as they did after the first time I tweaked it !
Also, it's essential to reboot after installing a new app!

Not sure if Lost boy is trolling or not, BlackBerry devices or OS10 for that matter, reboots are not necessarily need to be conducted.

Could you be even more vague??? You have no problem dismissing my suggestion but I don't see anything useful from you in place of mine.

Rebooting is a total necessity just like any other computer.

Well said Lostboy. I would say a reboot on a monthly basis should suffice. Or after any new app has been installef.

Any glitches at all can normally be resolved by rebooting. (hard that is).

I habitually restart my Z30 every night when I plug it in. It helps keep the memory clean. I also use Aerize Optimizer app from BBW to help manage the memory usage of my Android apps. It does a great job.

    Rock'n the awesome Z30 STA100-5 on 10.3.2.2474

Is the only thing that is going slow for you the browser?
I agree with what people are saying about soft and hard reboots, etc.

I ran into a situation a while back that just my browser ran slow. Tried clearing everything and doing everything I could do. Even installed evolution browser and it was still slow as hell, wouldn't accept input or did but like a minute after you typed something.

The last few updates I had done were OTA and I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it but it had been a long long time since I had a fresh install.

So I did the radical thing and used an auto loader and started off fresh. It solved all the problems.

With me everything was running fine except the browser. I'm not saying my fix is the best fix. It should probably be a last resort. But it worked great for me. And I didn't restore any backup which tends to just bring all your old problems back. I just backed up my contacts, saved my pictures to the SD card and went for it.

Yeah I had to go through and set up the phone again and customize things again. But it feels like a new phone. I don't regret doing it. But who knows maybe there was a way to fix my browser without the nuclear option.

Would recommend doing everything the other people are saying first before doing what I did. Just want to be clear on that. But one way or the other your phone can run like the day it was born again.

My browser works very good. I have www.bgoog.com as my home page and there's a youtube tab up top. I have no idea why this may work but it's worth a try. Good luck!

Yep, I also reboot both my devices in the AM after removing them from the charger... add an app, remove an app, use file manager daily... reboot never hurts...

Classic for work, Z30 for everything else...

    Speaking of browsers......
Bla1ze(if I remember correctly) wrote a very positive article on the "Zeus" browser. It has Flash and works the best.

I had tried The Evolution browser but it's way to heavy and ran poorly AND it doesn't have Flash.
Zeus is the way to go!

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's an absolute must to reboot your device daily as you've stated. However, rebooting is a great first step when troubleshooting any incidents that are occurring on a device after significant changes to either the OS or applications has occurred.

If you feel that cycling your device after changes are done restores a level of performance greater then or equivalent too, then that's your formulated perception and prerogative. I personally haven't had that experience with my BB10 devices and have only had to reboot when loading up a new OS or during troubleshooting of an issue.

It's not to say your way or my way is correct. Just different perspectives on the subject.

    Look! It's Zedzilla30!
