    Hello gang.

So I've had the Z30 a little over a week. My unit is a STA100-5 Which came from Telus Canada

Today all of a sudden, I noticed the phone is connected to AT&T via LTE. I took some screen shots and did some speed comparison between LTE and 4G. take a look.

My Location - Raleigh/Cary North Carolina

The OP keeps saying STL100. Of course the Z30 is STA100. I'd like clarification on this.

Can you post your device's about screen? Or the network screen, wherever you see the connection details..
This might actually be great news, unless your area uses a different LTE band.

Maybe the Admins can edit the title. Sorry for the typo.

Interesting. The STA100-5 does not have AT&T's primary LTE band (band 17, 700 MHz,) but it does have band 5 (850 MHz) which they are said to have deployed in a few markets.

OP, would you mind installing a free utility app called Signal, and posting what you see from it?

Thanks. That looks exactly like what I've seen before: no band 17. So you're most likely in a band 5 area. If you have an LTE capable iPhone or an Android, we could confirm this.

It's actually band 4 AWS is what att has deployed in some markets in addition to band 17 700mhz LTE.

I couldn't find any info of them using band 5.

I'll show you mine if you show me...source for deployment information that is I haven't heard of AT&T AWS deployment.

I also remember that att has had aws LTE licenses but I don't know what they have left after tmobile exchange. But I think they are getting more from leap.
