My z30 just did a random reboot for the first time ever. Any of you had that happen? Kinda bothers me.

It can happen and it is usually very rare. Were you running any particular app(s)? Had you rebooted or restarted the device rarely?

One question. I agree with you guys that z30 is awesome. Have any of you noticed really bad lag when waiting for a call to either dial or when you answer? I'm on vzw and mine. Along with my mom and my kids z10 have been doing it. It's pretty annoying.

Well known issue on. BlackBerry10. I had it too, it was really bad. Somehow I managed to love with it for months and it got steadily worse. Just over a week ago I took the plunge and did my first reload of the OS. Being new to BlackBerry (well the Z30 is my first BlackBerry and I have it almost a year), I followed some guides and did a fresh install using link. I reinstalled a limited subset of what I had before and most android apps are gone.
Now I have a rather fast and responsive Z30. The phone lag is gone for the time being. Everything is working better. I had many weird issues prior to the reinstall, now it's good.

Wasn't running anything. I've had this phone for close to 2 years and never had it happen. Concerns me because I don't know if it's just hardware wearing out or if the software is getting crappy. I'm still on the fence about what to replace this with. I'm starting to fear I may have to do it sooner rather than later. Might try a wipe and start fresh again.

I had phone call lag with 10.3.1 but since 10.3.2 it's been fine for me.

With regards the random reboots, I do get those (about once a fortnight). I *think* that it may be due to the music player as it always happens when I have music playing. Or it may be the OS accessing the media card in general.

I've learnt just to accept it, although it's very annoying.

Yep had experienced if a few times. The last random boot was when I put 2 apps together to create a sub folder and the moment I was about to type the name it just suddenly rebooted.

I was just thinking the same my self. Best phone I ever had. Even after reading the reviews of the Priv I am extremely happy with my Z30. Specially the sound quality and build quality. When my Z30 does decide to die may go over to the Priv, but that might not be for awhile.

Funny. I am a priv owner.....and I agree. Priv likely going back. Nice phone. But os10 still better. A z30 with 2015spec is what I really want. This is a recording.

Yup, I've been whining about a Z50 to upgrade to.
The OS is certainly on par, just be nice to have latest / greatest specs.
