Something weird is going on with headset volume and media volume. When I insert my head set, it's not acknowledging the headset.

Hi,
I think you already sure that your headset works well. If you think that it is a software problem than try to reload your phone connecting to blackberry link. If you've done it and you still have problem than try to change headset jag. You can find cheap one on Ebay.

Does the music come out of the headset? If so you can adjust the music in the app itself near the top when you're in the "Now playing" section. I was having this issue when the aux cable was starting to die on my headphones

Hey guys, I just realized that my sister headset I was using. She has a Q10. It not compatible with Z30. I was scared something went wrong with phone because I liked the phone.

Are you sure Q10 headphones aren't compatible? I've been using that on my Z30 and its working fine. Maybe try another pair of headphones altogether.
