    i now have a silky smooth n shiney Z30 *cue the fireworks and brass band*
    any tips for the change over from my Z10 please?
    i've already updated the os software and most of the apps from BBW(ooh err missus) just need to transfer

    i will point out i only changed because i wanted a bigger screen and also that after a year in my pocket my old(after a year?) Z still looks almost like new(the woman in the shop thought it was only a couple of months old )

    I did a full device switch using Link going from my Z10 to Z30.

    Only recommendation is to delete any apps or games first that don't have game progress or any unique app data stored locally on your phone. Link takes long enough as it is...

    Job done, update went great, both plugged into usb and off it went after updating os.
    Got most of my android apps back as well.
    I am finding the wifi connection is a bit intermittent tho when trying to connect to cloud wifi while out, hope this wont become an issue....

    How did you manage to keep your Android apps. Mine didn't transfer from my Z10 to the Z30

    They will if they are side loaded as bar files.

    Well that stands to reason. The way it sounded to me was as if he was able to save installed apks.

    I save the apk's in a folder on my sd and re install from there, simples!
    I also keep bar files there and point DDPB to there thru usb to install.
    Makes life really easy after os updates.
