It seems like if I want a good quality 64GB sd it'll cost at least $45 from amazon and 128GB is just too expensive for me on amazon. I ordered a 128GB For $20.50CAD and it was fake, I also ordered a 64GB from China and when it comes in a month or so I can already see negative feedback coming back to the seller and it'll be a fake.

Anyone buy a cheapie from eBay that was real? Just looking for a good seller, doesn't have to be a great writing/reading speed.

My advice to you is to not go cheap on your storage card that's going to hold important files and data. If you look at the cheap cards on Amazon, you will see lots of bad reviews for the cards under performing/dying within months/not working out of the box.

To use an old adage, you get what you pay for.

I bought this Samsung 64GB card to replace a cheaper SanDisk card that was dying on me, and I got it for a little over $41 shipped:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...UvbUpU10584884
I have only used it for two days but is definitely a little faster on the reads and writes compared to my SanDisk card, and it seems to be error free (knock on wood).

I only use name brand SD cards (Sandisk, Samsung, Sony, etc) since I cannot have my SD card to fail on me while containing important data.

And I have never had an memory card fail because of that, but it is entirely possible for cheap cards to fail.

Right now, $140 for a 128gb card sounds about right to me.

From what I saw the EVO was about the same price as the non-EVO one I linked above, but it appears to perform at 48MB/second versus the 70 of the non-EVO one.

I'm not sure why Samsung has the EVO, PRO, and "regular" (non-EVO and non-PRO) SD card versions, when the regular out performs the EVO for the same price. Maybe they are in a state of transition?

Either way $40 shipped for a quality 64GB micro SD card isn't really that expensive all things considered. The 128GB ones are just too expensive at this point which is understandable given how new they are.

Your card is actually Pro and its list price is quite higher.

So, at least only looking at Amazon, it is a better deal because the discount is higher.

It's not the PRO, because that would be this card:
    http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Electr...UvbUpU10586024
The PRO has a 90MB/s read where as mine has 70. So it looks like there are 3 micro SD card variants available from Samsung.

I'll also suggest not cheaping out on the microSD card. When I first got my Z10 I bought a 64GB no-name card off eBay. Files kept erasing off the card. I was blaming the device until I decided to buy a 32GB brand name card. More expensive but enough storage for me and I haven't had a file corrupt or go missing since.

I get mine from Best Buy. Several times a year they have great prices on San Disk cards. I got a 64gb micro card for $35. Most of the times they have them on sale their $40. And as 'high' on sale for $50. I suggest to sign up for their Deal of the Day email notifications. That's how I find out about the sales.

The product code shows as Pro in the Samsung site. I was thinking it might be an older Pro.

I bought a pretty good one SanDisk 64gb for 25. Make sure it's brand name and stick with a seller in ur country. I have gotten a fake from a us seller before but was covered. I would avoid anything from China as almost every memory card I bought from there was fake.

You bought a fake lol that's why. If I buy a fake I get a full refund and don't ship it back... Always test as soon as you get them

They use extremely fast 130mb/s chips. Even SanDisk's premium models are pretty Pricey and don't reach that speed.

It's not just apple. A lot of modern phones use this type of chips to enable fast writing of images for burst shot mode etc

This one didn't work on my z30.. I've seen that there are users using the gray colored one and had no issues.. currently using a 32gb.

BlackBerry Z30.. nothing else comes close!
