Happy New Year Everyone! I have a z30 running on T-Mobile 10.2.0.415, I have "basic" knowledge on leaks....my question is this, my past phone #9930, had profile settings when the device was in the holster and out of holster. For example, I was able to have a text message just vibrate in holster/vibrate and tone when out, same with email/phone etc. DO ANY OF THE LATEST LEAKS PROVIDE THESE FEATURES BACK? God I miss them bad>>>

I believe there is a few settings but not like if old.
But this OS is great it's worth the jump.

Answer call by removing from holster,
And end call by putting back in.

Other than that you can still do special notifications per contact.

Just to put a different perspective on things, they didn't "remove" these settings, but rather they haven't programmed them into the completely new platform where BlackBerry started over. I an fairly confident they will be added in at some point soon, or someone will write a headless app that provides in and out of holster notification profile changes.

You also might want to know that the phone will turn on by hitting the top button while in the holster........

The version I am on:
Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.1925
Does not have a notification profile switch for holstered or non-holstered. A number of app developers have said they were going to address it, but I have yet to see a headless app that does it.

Where is "holster " under settings? Not seeing it. But I'm on 1259 if that makes a difference.

ya I have the same profile you show, its not like the old 0s7(9930) ,I was able to vibrate in holster, w/tone etc, out of holster I could do whatever, a headless app would be great

Not what I was talking about. I was talking about different notification profiles based upon the phone being holstered or not.
