Do you have Allow Connections turned on on the phone in Settings / Device Connections?

Is this a work PC or a personal/home PC? Do you see the BlackBerry virtual network adapter(s) in the Control Panel, Network settings?

Allow Connection on the device. I had this issue also, didn't realize I had it set to off.

    BTW, XP? Dayum! Good times.

Does Link say it's compatible with XP? I would be surprised if that's the case. Regardless, Microsoft doesn't even support it anymore.

Allow connection is ON... but still it asks for installing drivers...
And Link gives me the two options as in the screenshot

Link is compatible with XP... Blend is not... it requires Windows 7.
Although I downloaded it and tried, it only updated the drivers.. ( probably for the Passport and Classic)
But that didn't solve the problem either!

And when you tap Install Drivers on the phone what happens?

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

I tried another USB port on the PC and it worked... took a long time though!
Also I uninstalled and Reinstalled after using CCleaner... don't really know what fixed the issue.!!

But cool that its working and I updated my phone to 2708.
