I say he does a test with wifi off and goes to places that have low signal then we'll see how much battery usage is left.

The Z30 will destroy any other device in that test. Paratek, baby!

No device can survive with very low signal, I've tried the z30 and in less than an hour 15 % was gone. It's not the phone or antennas fault but I just had to use a different service provider when I'm at work there.

Sure but given the same conditions, the Z30 will smoke other devices.

The OP was sharing how his device worked for him.
As expected, those that also experience good battery life gave a thumbs up.

And then we have those that feel the need to have to question.. what if this or what if that?! Can't you just be happy for the guy??

Some people will never be satisfied even if they never have to charge their battery again.
It makes me wonder... if the dissatisfied ever become satisfied, and actually enjoy their BlackBerry device and have nothing to complain about,
will life still be worth living??? (it just makes me wonder.....)

OP very much agree with your results. When I use my Z30 as hard as you have shown I get about the same usage. With medium usage, ie. 3 email accounts syncing every 5 min, twitter, LinkedIn, CB app, music and browsing I get somewhere close to 34 hours. I just love this phone!

that means basically BBRY's claim of 25 hours of mixed use is.. somewhat confirmed, yea?

my "full day" is from 7.30AM to 11.30PM Sun to Thurs and 7.30AM to 1AM the next day on Fri & Sat. before, using the Z10 i can only manage to get it running for 12-13 hours before the battery runs out to 10% and normally it's done by 9.30 or 10PM, but on Z30, during office days, by the end of the day i still see the battery is sitting at around 40-50% (yeah my office got wifi & i can use the wifi and i'm only on the mobile data for 2 hours a day as i'm driving to & from home) with moderate to heavy usage.

while on weekends, 80-90% of my "weekend day" is on 3G with light to moderate use + more BBM-ing, still i can manage to get 40% of battery juice left before my bed time in average. sometimes i use more, but still by the end of the day i'm done, the battery is still at 30%.

17 hours? What are you guys talking about?
I have been running mine 24hrs so far, and I traveled all day yesterday with Tune In streaming, checking web, getting emails, etc.. It's not even %50 so far.,
Sadly I don't run latest leak so I cannot post a screenshot to prove this but I can assure you it's not even %50.
If there is any screen I can show you guys I'd be more than happy to.
Is the Z30 different than the Z10 in regards to screen shots as I have been able to take screen shots for a long time and many leaks ago?

This cannot be more untrue. If you have good signal it's as bad or as good. At home my wi-fi is a punishment for my battery usually
this, i'm usually in my room and have little to no wifi signal and its constantly connecting and dropping out and thats when you see my battery drain quick

    damn amazingggg

19 hours at an extreme constant pace, with 6 more hours to go at that rate.....so 25 hours at that pace is enough to make you go stir crazy.

AFAIK, HDMI doesnt supply power ... Hence the extra cable for power on devices like chromecast and miracast dongles... Unfortunate.

Dude what's your problem? I was just trying to give him a challenge.
And my battery doesn't last long because I'm constantly using my phone. Only BLACKBERRY's do!
    So Don't hate.
I'm just waiting for the Z30 to come to ATT.

For me, it's not just about how long the phone lasts in hours, so long as it breaks the 15/16 hour mark consistently, while still allowing me to do what I need to do, I have no complaints! just to note, my Z30 lasts from when I wake up to when I fall asleep at night. So roughly 15 hours or so.
